  • Community Participation Scheme 2023-24

    The Community Participation Scheme 2023-24 is closed for application. The results are published in the “Sponsored Projects” column.

    In 2023-24, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education will continue to promote the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, the Basic Law and the “One Country, Two Systems” principle to promote among the public enhanced awareness and sense of responsibility towards national security, a stronger sense of belonging and pride towards national identity, alongside the promotion of the proper concept of the rule of law, and a deeper understanding and to encourage them to take note of the latest developments and opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). As for core civic values, we will place greater emphasis on “Respect” and “Responsibility” and suitable reference to the Constitution, the Basic Law and the “One Country, Two Systems” principle. We will also continue to promote “Love” and “Inclusiveness”.

    We encourage eligible organisations to organise activities with depth, creativity and effectiveness while in compliance with the promotional highlights above so as to promote civic education (including national education) outside schools.
