Welcome to the Homepage of the Civic Education Resource Centre (CERC).

CERC was set up by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE) with the aim of promoting civic education. The Centre has three sections, namely the Resource Corner, the Civic Square and the Gallery.

Resource Corner
The Resource Corner has a collection of reference materials and teaching kits on civic education and youth development. Parent-child magazine “The Clay Family”, which is published by the CPCE, is also available there.

Civic Square
The Civic Square has a seating capacity of 180. Civic education activities such as talks, training courses, film shows and seminars, etc. will be held there.

The Gallery
The Gallery comprises a thematic exhibition area and a permanent interactive exhibition area. The permanent interactive exhibition area showcases interactive exhibits to promote positive core civic values, personal values and national knowledge. The four main themes of exhibition are "Me", "My Family and I", "My Society and I" and "My Country and I". The thematic exhibition area is for staging thematic exhibitions on core civic values. Topics of exhibitions will be changed every four to six months.
