- Community Participation Scheme 2026-27
The Community Participation Scheme 2026-27 is now open for applications. The deadline for application is 5:00 p.m. on 28 October 2026.
In 2026-27, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education will emphasise on the promotion of patriotic education (including the Constitution, the Basic Law, the principle of “One Country, Two Systems”, awareness of safeguarding national security, the richness and beauty of traditional Chinese culture, our country’s history and achievements as well as Hong Kong’s proactive alignment with the 15th Five-Year Plan for integrating into and serving the overall national development.), and we will continue to emphasise on the promotion of the four core civic values: “Respect”, “Responsibility”, “Love” and “Inclusiveness”.
We encourage eligible organisations to organise activities with depth, creativity and effectiveness, while aligning with the promotional highlights above to promote civic and national education outside schools.
Application Procedures
Applicant organisations must submit the application form and required documents on or before the application deadline through one of the following methods:
- Through the online application system (https://eform.cefs.gov.hk/form/hab029/en/); or
- By post or in person to the Secretariat (Address: Room 905, Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan)
