Welcome to this website of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education.

The Committee is tasked to promote civic and national education among the people of Hong Kong. In 2012-13, the Committee adopts "Cherish yourself and your family, Love Hong Kong and your country" as the topical theme of varied initiatives and activities. We will focus on supporting the public to develop positive values, such as "respect", "responsibility" and "love", as well as civic awareness in a systematic manner through enhanced partnership with voluntary organisations, non-governmental organisations, District Councils and community organisations. Through the "National Education Home Page" of this website, the Committee will continue to foster the public's understanding of national affairs.
